I wasn't exactly sure where to put this. We do have a vacation package, but I'm not looking to change my resort stay. We are down to 24 days before our Disney trip – YAY! That said, we were planning a day at Sea World at the end of the trip, and looking at our budget and agenda, we could add another Disney Day for like $30 total for our family rather than $300ish for Sea World.

However, now that I’m under the 30 day mark with Disney, can I still add days without any sort of penalty?

Call and ask. Should be fine.

I went to the concierge in the middle of my trip in February, and they said that I could add days as long as I hadn't already used them all up, so you should be an easy customer.

Technically, there is a $50 change fee if making changes to a package within 30 days of arrival, however, that is usually waived if the new package cost is equal or more than the original. You are adding costs, so they should waive the fee. I would call WDW reservations, tell them you would like to add one day to your tickets and ask if they are going to charge you the change fee prior to them making the change. If they say, no change fee, go for it! If they say they will charge a fee, either ask for guest services over the phone, or simply upgrade your ticket once you are on property.
