Adding jpg to signature - help please

I've tried adding a link to a jpg image on my webspace to my signature, but all that happens is the link shows up as text. What am I doing wrong. I couldn't find an obvious answer in FAQs.

Have you given the picture it's image tags before and after the pic address? It needs to read like this.

Now can you tell me how to make the 2 pics appear side by side?

You can make them apprear side by side, as I did, by removing any spaces between the tags. They are a bit too big though. The maximum pixels allowed is 200 in either direction.

You can resize them using this code:

&ltimg width=200 src="http://home.midsouth.rr.com/jillnbill/jill/Ben%20Bug%20Life.jpg">

to get:

<img width=200 src="http://home.midsouth.rr.com/jillnbill/jill/Ben%20Bug%20Life.jpg">
