Adding Dining Plan After Booking?

Hi everyone! When I originally booked my family's vacation to WDW, there were practically NO dining reservations available during our trip (mid-November). So, I didn't get the dining plan, unsure of what we would actually be able to do.

Since then, with perseverance and a little help from the November cancellation thread, I've been able to add several TS restaurants to our plans.

Is it possible to add on the dining plan to our booking? I did book the room/ticket package. Also, how does that work if you have already paid OOP for something, like HDDMR?

You can add a dining plan to a package reservation anytime up to 3 days before arrival. Be aware that if you make any changes at all to your package within 2 weeks of arrival there may be a "paperwork fee" involved of $15.

If you already paid for HDD, you can try calling WDW-DINE and asking them to refund you. Or you can switch your payment to dining credits when you pick up your HDD tickets and have the refund arranged then.
