Adding Days to Tickets with My Magic Plus

I have done some searching around DIS, the WDW website and Google and have not been able to find an answer to my questions about adding days to tickets.

We are leaving for WDW tomorrow and have our tickets bought and Magic Bands and FP+ and everything. All tickets are linked to MB. We all have six day tickets.

It already looks likely we will add a day or two for some in our family. I was not planning to bring the paper tix I bought since they are already in MDE and linked.

So I have two questions:

1. How does adding days work once you have linked your paper tix to MDE?

2. Under the old MYW tix you could add a day as long as it was within 14 days, less than 10 total days of use on the ticket, and you had at least one day left on your current ticket. Is that still the rule with MDE?

Adding days has not really changed at all. As for your last point, you do not have to have one day left, you could do it on your last day, before end of day.

Personally I would suggest bring the paper or plastic tickets anyway in case there is some sort of problem. They don't take up much room.

Since I would not be carrying my paper tickets with me then wouldn't that mean that it had changed?

I can't even find all the paper tickets at this point. It was a couple months ago.

The tickets are electronic and linked to your account, which you can access with your magic band. For all intents and purposes, your magic band is your ticket. So, it's just as if you're wearing your ticket on your wrist. Otherwise, nothing has changed.

I suppose you could look at it that way. :confused3

But, since you did not have to have your paper tickets to upgrade before, maybe not. :confused3

I guess you lost me there, as whenever I have added days to my tickets in the past I have needed the paper tickets. The paper tickets are what I used to enter the parks.
