Adding days to Park Hopper bought through employer

Hi all,

We are heading down in March and my son's friend will be purchasing her park hopper through her employer. She thinks it is a 5-day hopper and she'll need a 7-day for our plans. She's worried she won't be able to add on days but I'm assuming it won't be a problem just like any other pass. Am I correct? Also, will I be able to do that in advance so I can set up her FP's for all 7 days?

If it's through a standard discount portal like ticketsatwork, then they are standard MYW tickets and can be upgraded.

Convention tickets are usually the problem.

Typically tickets bought through a reseller are able to be upgraded. Usually the only exceptions to that are those that are sold a a significant discount to large groups (conventions, sports groups, etc). These types of tickets usually make the inability to upgrade them very clear if you read the ticket terms.

Upgrading tickets purchased from a third party is usually only done on site for guests once they are at WDW. I would expect to only be able to book 5 days of advance FP for her and pick the days where you will need the 60 day window for sure (like FOP). Once you arrive and upgrade you will be able to book the 2 additional days of FP.
