My search function is timing out on this so sorry if it is already answered..

We are recieving 4-day hopper passes with our tour package through Champion Tours(Dance/Cheer tour company). I would like to upgrade these to a 5-day hopper when I check in to AsMu. Am I right that I would just pay an additonal $1 a ticket? or is there a fee involved for adding days? I was looking at the price difference between 4 and 5 day hopper passes and they are $233 and $234 on Disney's web site.

I would like to do this if I can.

Thanks Diser's

YES we did this last year in Sept...it cost a total of 8 dollars I think to add an extra day!!! They can do in right at the front desk at check in or after you get your room keys...(we did it later at the Poly because we did not plan to go our first day but COULD not resist looking at the castle from the Poly...we had to go over!!

It depends on how much they paid for the hoppers...
I bought mine from AAA and upgraded from 5 to 7 days however because I had the discount from AAA i had to pay $24.99 per day ....
Good luck! :cool1:

The reason you gave for an apology does not need an apology.

Ask about the cost before plunking down the money and proceeding with a ticket upgrade. Depending on what it costs you might want to change your mind and do something else such as go to a water park, on those extra days.

Disney hints:

Let's start a fad!

It appears that upgrading of last year's tickets or tickets purchased from other travel agencies wipes out discounts achieved at purchase. Disney has always touted the "more you play the less you pay per day". That spirit is violated with this upgrade policy.

To protest, spend extra days at Sea World, Universal, etc.

I finally found some other posts - no for sure answer found. I will just ask when I get there - if it is more than I want to spend we will just go to DTD or lay by the pool.

Thanks for the responses.

This post got me thinking of another, similar question. Can you add days to an old (8 months) Magic Your Way ticket if you purchased the No expiration option?

Specifically, we have 7-day MYW tickets with Hopper, Magic Plus & No expiration options from last summer. Could be change these to 10 day tickets for this summer?

Thanks!

It depends on what kind of tickets the tour company has. If they are regular MYW tickets, then you will have no problem adding days for the difference in gate price between the two. But if they have specialty tickets that groups such as the sports group uses then those are not upgradeable at all. The only way you will know for sure is to have them scanned at the Lobby Concierge desk at you resort or at a Guest Relations loaction at a park or DTD.

No you can't. Once the 14 day window has passed, you cannot add days to the ticket and just pay the difference, even if you have no expiration on it. After 14 days, you have two options: use the ticket up as is or exchange it applying the dollar value of the unused admissions towards a new ticket.
