Adding Days to Free Dining Offer

I was wanting to book a vacation for a Sat. to a Sat. in August. I was not able to book the Free Dining offer for the Sat. to Sat. that I wanted; however, I could book for Sat. to Fri., so I went ahead and did that. Is there a chance that I will be able to add another day at some point?

Packages are booked as all-or-nothing. If you couldn't get a 7th night by booking Sat.-Sat., it's because Disney doesn't have a 7-night package for your dates at your resort. You're not going to be able to just add a night to your package.

As long as there's a room available, you're good. But you will have two reservations. You can ask not to be moved at check in but it's not guaranteed. You may still have to physically check out and back in for the last night of your stay.

As others have posted, you can add a night as a separate reservation (pending availability). If you book the same resort/room type, you can have the reservations linked with a request to stay in the same room. As a pp mentioned, it's not guaranteed you won't have to move, but they will do what they can to keep you in the same room. With that said, I'd keep checking to see if that extra night can be added with FD. Availability does sometimes change as people change plans, cancel, etc., so a Sat-Sat FD stay might become available .

Looks like there is a lot more availability now at Pop. I was able to book Free Dining for my whole trip!

I just changed my dates for December. Changed the start date and added 3 days from the 28th to the 31st of December. On-line. No problem. All free dining. Keep trying something may open up.

We were booked at POR for FD in a river view room for 8 days. My work gave me 2 extra days off. Web showed no availability for two extra days. I call reservations and they also said theirs no availability. I asked to be transferred to guest relations. Guest relations said theres no promises but she'll look it up. After 10 minutes on hold she said she could downgrade our view to Garden and add the 2 days with FD and the total would be $80 less. Score!
The Guest relations person sounded stressed-out at first, but i was very polite and told her how excited we were about the trip. Give it a try. The worst they could say is no.

one big plus to adding another day (without the dining) to your free dining reservation: the dining credits are good until midnight of the day you check out.. it's so much food as it is, so you can save a meal credit and a snack credit for that last whole day! ( you could save a meal credit and 2 snack credits for the last day.. for 1 snack credit get a pastry for each person. put it in your fridge and there is your breakfast for the "new" check out day)
