Adding an associate opinion

Can anyone tell me if there are any negatives with adding an associate? Will she still be able to use it upon our death?
I do realize she would not have the member benefits. Just trying to do this easily and affordable.
We have about 5 different contracts which make changing the deed more costly. Thanks in advance for your opinions.
