Adding a night with Free Dining

We are arriving 11/26, and We decided to add a night and we have free dining. the CM looked and there were no available rooms at our hotel (Coronado) but we could book room only. What are the 'rules' on it? If Coronado doesnt have any FD rooms can i choose a value if they have a fd room?

IF a Value Resort has availability for *free* dining, it would be treated like any split stay...you would need to purchase a package that satisfies the rule for *free* dining for that Value Resort stay. IOW, you would probably need to stay at that Value Resort for a minimum number of days and purchase tickets (usually 2-day minimum with either park hopping or water parks).

OR if the Value Resort has availability for all the nights that you wish to stay, then you could cancel the CSR reservation and book the Value Resort with a *free* dining package.

Keep in mind though, if you do this (change from a Moderate to a Value resort with *free* dining) your *free* dining plan will change from the regular dining plan (one QS and one TS meal each day) to the Quick service dining plan which is for 2 QS meals a day. So you will lose the TS meal allotment. Just wanted to be sure you were aware of that.
