Adding a night to an already booked package?

How hard is it to add a night to an already booked package?

We currently have a 1 night room only, and 5 nights DM+silver package.
I want to change the room only night to be part of the package.

What will I need to do?
Will it involve canceling my package and rebooking to add an extra night?

I originally wanted to cancel the room only and add two nights to the package in order to take advantage of the 5 for 7 deal. BUT, we already have our airfare booked and it would cost us 400.00 to make a change to it.So I realy can't extend my days

How did you book your package? If you are not planning on going to the parks on the day that you arrive, you may want to keep your room only ressie. Adding a night to most packages includes UPHs and meals. But it is only a phone call away to add a night to a package, no problem.

DO NOT cancel your original ressie--you may never get the rooms back.
We added a day/night to our stay and they just revised the original ressie over the phone.
It wasn't a special package though, so can't help you there.

By the way, you can book 6 nights on the special package. You'd still pay for the 5 nights, and the 6th night would be free (meaning you'd still be paying the same amount, just getting the extra night free). Just call and tell them you want to revise your package ressie, after that is completed, cancel your room only ressie.

For some reason I didn't think I could just add a sixth night without the seventh.I guess I thought the package HAD to be at least 7 nights long.

Hmmmmm, I'm going to call them and see what I can do.

You were right, it was all very painless
I was able to cancel our room only night and add a sixth night to our package FOR FREE with the 7 for 5 deal!!!
Then I added the silver plan feature to the sixth night.
After all was totalled, we actually saved $6.28, LOL !!!

I am a happy ,happy girl

Now...........I have to figure out where else we want to spend the 8 additional wishes for meals
