Im trying to add a night to our stay at AoA suites. The promos are gone now. Ive been waiting for something to come up but still nothing. So if no promos come up, Im looking to add a night at an affordable rate at perhaps another resort. We arrive in the evening and heading to EMM the next morning so I am not worried about spending too much time in the room, we just need a place to sleep. We cant do the Little Mermaid room at AoA because its just too small with 2 double beds with 3 kids even though 1 is under 3. So that leaves POP- which Ive heard good things about but we would squeeze on 2 queen beds for a night but would be $160. I thought about the 5th sleeper room for CBR but theyre gone now. Then theres All Star Music suite for $350 so we would save $100 off of doing AoA but again have to move the next day. Or we add a night with a family suite at AoA at a ridiculous rate $450 but have the chance of not having to move rooms the next day. Thoughts?

First, call reservations and ask to have your request upgraded to Guest Relations. This would be the only area that might possibly have a chance of maybe adding your night to AoA at your discounted rate. Or, if it comes to this - is the convenience of potentially settling in worth $100 to you?

If that doesn't work, reconsider the Little Mermaid room. Identical size over to Pop rooms, more floor space because the need are smaller, and the toddler fawn sleep in the Pafk & Play for the one night.

If that's truly not a solution, Pop. With either of these two choices, you can bring your luggage with you. With

Or, stay off-site the first night.

I did call and ask for availability to add a night and they said there is no availability because we booked under free dining. I was worried about the double beds in LM room. I would have to share a bed with the 16 yr old daughter and DH would be with 9 yr old son. Not sure how comfortable it would be but it would save $ and be easier to switch rooms. I would prefer to stay onsite because its easier to get to EMM and easier to have our bags moved (we wont have a car). Thank you for the advice. :)

I would choose Pop simply for the queen beds and to save some money. I just stayed at the Dolphin with two double beds and I would not have been comfortable sharing one of those beds with my 9-year old. You can leave your luggage with Bell Services in the morning and they will bring it over to AoA for you, or, if you don't have a ton of stuff, you could even walk it over to AoA bell services and then leave for EMM from there.

Good to know! I did hear you can easily walk over to AoA from POP. My SIL/BIL arrive that day and are staying at AoA so we want to add a night so we arrive the same day. So if we stay at Pop we can walk over to see them after we check in. I think the double beds will definitely be too small. Both kids like to move around in their sleep so we don't like to share a bed with them...glad its only one night!
