Adding a day to a Hopper Pass?

I have Hopper Passes from a Disney trip we took 2 years ago. The passes have only 1 day left on them. Can I add one more day on to these passes? If so, where can I do this? How much will it cost? One pass is a child's Hopper Pass and the child is now 11 years old. Would I need to add a day to hers and make it an adult pass?

I'd be interested in knowing this also. I have 2 adult passes with 1 day on them and would like to know if I can add 1 or 2 days onto one of them. If not, my alternate was to use the 2 days and buy the bounce-backs if they still exist, does anyone know? Thanks for any info on this.

I too have 1 day left on hopper passes that I want to add a day on. i called WDW info yesterday and they told me the only thing I could do was upgrade to a 4 day hopper.Out of my budget and then I'm left with 2 days.(that's how they keep you coming back!)Can you purchase a bounceback if you are in the park on an old hopper, has anyone done this? That would save me at least $35. Thank you.

Sorry. You cannot add days to Hopper Passes. And you must buy a Bounceback ticket on the same day that you bought the original one day/one park ticket.

:(

Darlene:

Disney will give you a free upgrade from the child's pass to an adult one for the remaining day you have left. They do not penalize children for growing up. As Beth said, you cannot just "add days" to an old pass. What you will need to do (if you want to) is either use the leftover day and purchase new tickets/passes for the rest of your stay or you can apply the remaining dollar value of the old pass towards a new one.

msr709:

Yes, "bounce back" tickets are still around. They are now called 2 day/2 park and 3 day/3park tickets. They must be bought before the end of your first 1 day/1park ticket visit. You will save $5 on the second one and $10 on the third. The second ticket must be used within 4 days and the third within 7 days.

Thanks for the replies GoldenOldie and BethR. Could I bother you with a few more questions?Would you know how much the bounceback tickets are or where I could get that info? I would assume you can only purchase these bb tickets at the parks. I do have a Disney Club card, is there any discounts for that? I'm trying to keep a budget and would like to know all this before I go. Thanks for all your help.

Hi mrs709!

Here is a LINK to Ticket Prices here on the DIS.

The One day/One Park price is $50.88 for an adult. If you buy a bounce back pass for 2 days it would be about $95.88. For 3 days about $140. (savings of $5 per "return" days.)

You can only buy these tickets at the parks (and PERHAPS your Disney resort?). And there are no DC or any other discounts with these tickets.

Hope that this helps.

:)

You can also get 1 Day/1 Park or 2 Day/2 Park or 3 Day/3Park tickets at the Resorts. But you can't get "bounce back" tickets because they won't know what you're talking about. :D

Hi Golden Oldie!

Thanks for your help - great information as always. :)

So I am wondering, aren't 1 day/1 park, 2 day/2 park, etc tickets the SAME as Bounce Back but Disney has just renamed them? Or are the tickets called "Bounce Back" when you purchase your extra days AFTER you purchased your first day? For example - before you leave the park your first day?

I hope that I am making sense. Or should we just stop calling Bounce Back tickets Bounce Back tickets?

:)

Thanks in advance!

To knowledgeable folks like DIS people, they are one and the same just as DxL is to POR. To Disney CM's who only look at the list of ticket options they have to sell in front of them, there is no such thing as "bounce back." You have to remember two things about these tickets.

First it was several years ago that Disney introduced the concept then on a limited-time basis. When they decided to make it a permanent option, they renamed it to 1 Day/1 Park, 2 Day/2 Park and 3 Day/3 Park.

Second, it seems lately that the average tenure of the most of Disney resort front desk/Guest Relations CM's is about two years. Hence most never heard of "bounce back" and will give you the "three headed tourist from h*ll" look if you ask for it.

And yes, Beth, it would make everyone's life a lot easier if "bounce back" was retired.

HTH :) :D ;)

Thanks for all the info. I called the Disney Club line yesterday afternoon, and told them I had two 4-day passes with one day left on each and I wanted to find out whether I could credit both tickets to 1 AP, and she said they will do that at Guest Relations at the Parks, is this correct? I asked her twice to make sure she understood me and she gave me the same answer but could not give me the prices of the credits, she just said they pro rated them (which I knew). I mention it here because you guys are such a wealth of information and I've gotten more accurate info from these boards than any time I have called CRO directly. Thanks again for the replies.

my sister did exactly what you are asking about last year.she added a day to a 4 day pass(actually 3 of them)The CM charged her credit card and gave her a receipt told her to keep the receipt. She has since lost it.And we are going back in June and she is now worried that those days and the bonus days are not even on her card.Well let's hope. LOL

I have personally taken 3 old hoppers back to WDW and exchanged them for a annual pass.No questions asked, they were the old hoppers that the extra days expired so many days after activation.

Same Sister changed LOS passes into hoppers(which most people say can not be done also)maybe it is her personally but she usually gets her way. LOL

Have fun and enjoy the world.

We bought 5 day hopper plus tickets but are considering lengthening our stay by one day. Can I upgrade to the 6 day hopper plus by paying the difference of 31.80?

I'm wondering this also, we bought 4 day hoppers but are thinking we might like to upgrade them to the 5 day hoppers when we get there can we do this for the difference in price?

If the passes you want to upgrade are new and unused, then yes you can just pay the difference to get the upgrade. If they are older passes that have already been partially used, then no you can't.
