My sis-in-law and her 2 year old son want to join us on our Disney vacation in February. The problem is that we made our dining reservations the crazy morning when everyone was trying to get them (at 4 am :surfweb:) and I really don't want to change them. We got everything we had hoped for and we were really happy. Has anyone tried to add people to their reservations afterwards? Can you do them all at once or do you have to go one by one and try to fit 2 more people in? I'm excited they want to come....but this definitely complicates things!!! :scared:

Thanks for any info you can share! :goodvibes

You have to go one by one to change the reservations. It will be hit or miss on whether or not there is availability at the restaurants and if it would be necessary to change your ADR times.

1) You can check for ressies for the new amount of people.
2) You do not just add to an existing ressie.
3) You actually make a new ressie and cancel the old one.
4) Good luck at this later date.

It would be ideal if you get lucky and can change all of your ADRs to show your new party size. If you cannot do so, you can still show up and hope that they will be able to seat 2 extra people, but there are no guarantees.

You will most likely need a larger table than the one you have booked now. And if the restaurant is a popular one, there simply may not be a larger table to move you to. Call ahead to try to change your ADRs, and if that doesn't work, show up early to your meal and keep your fingers crossed. But have a game plan in mind of what you will all do if the worst happens, and only the original group can be accomodated.
