I made my ADR 180 days out. My niece is coming with us and her bday is while we are there. My sister wants to come and surprise her daughter for 2 days. If I can't get those 4 ADRs upped to 5 what should I do? Can I show up with my surprise guest? BOG is one of the ADRs so its not like I'm going to just find something else.

You need to keep trying to change your ADR. 4 to 5 is especially hard to try and walk-up because you're now looking at a different table size. You can try walking up if you really can't get anything but be prepared for that 5th person to be turned away.

Now lots of people will comment below me that "grandma came at the last minute, they took us all no problem!" but that really can't be counted on. It's a rarity.

Try for a reservation for one or two as close to your time as possible. Arrive early together, ask if it's possible to all be seated together.

Worst case, your sister and niece sit together for a very special surprise birthday dinner, and the three of you sit at a separate table.

You will not be charged for a no-show.

Check MDE first to see if it will let you make another reservation for the time. Usually it won't let you make one if you already have a ressie for that time. Your sister would have to make her own ressie with her own MDE. We've done this as we frequently have last minute travelers join us. Sometimes they can seat us together and sometimes not. We were "pixie dusted" a few weeks ago when Rose and Crown combined our reservations and gave us all a patio seat for Illuminations.

I would call and see how many of the ADRs you can get changed to 5. If that doesn't work, try getting an ADR for 1 person at the same time and ask to be seated near each other or together if possible when you check in. If you can't change them, you can show up and see if they can seat you as a group of 5 but have a backup plan if they say no.
