Added bonus to POTC Keys

Here's a little something I noticed (maybe I'm not the first one...), but when you activate a key, you get a hundred credits.

The next time you get a key, look at the amount of credits before and after you activate the key. You should see a 100 credit amount. Not much, but it is still a cool little bonus...

One of the prizes is 100 credits. That's what you probably got

That or it's the points you got for winning pirates.

I did, It's just the prize in the trunk, no credits for me.

I can confirm I turned in a dud for a gold key while watching my credit and did in deed get 100 credit. I hope comntinuing to turn in keys is not concidered exploiting a bug.

Right, while the keys with prizes get you just that: prizes. The dud does give you 100 credits, at least it's something.

Yup, just tried it myself, and at least for bronze keys, a dud gets you 100 credits. If it had been credits from the game, I would've gotten 200+. Nice to know; thanks for pointing that out TToryk!

Maybe it only works if you don't get anything, which has been happening to me more and more often.

I wonder if you get the credits from the win when you get a key... there is not credit win pop up, just the key pop up... I will have to check that today too....

I had suspected this the other day when I went in to redeem a bronze key. I know I had checked my credits prior to entering the Treasure Room and then when I had used the key, I went to look at my inventory and the credit tab was showing first. It had seemed that there was a 100 credits more than what I had remembered. I didn't really think about it too much at the time.

At least there is something for all those empty duds I got.

Ok you DO get the winning credits when you win the key, even though you dont get a pop up telling you about it....

I looked at my credits and each time my box was empty, I got the 100 extra credits
