We were thinking of adding on 50 points at the VGC. DVCNews has the add on price at $112 less a $15 discount. Has anyone talked to a guide recently that can confirm that this pricing is the current offer for VGC? Any updates on current add on offers for VGC would be greatly apprecitated.

Thanks!

I just closed on my 50 pt add on at VGC at that same price,$97/pt. Good luck! We are thrilled to own there, having already stayed there in February.

Now I am confused! We were at the DVC member tour and presentation at BLT last week and we were told they had the best offers. It was $112 per point with a discount of $10 at VGC. I am going to call tomorrow and talk to my guide to see if I can find out the scoop.

I thought that $97 per/pt was a good deal, esp for only 50 points. Too good to pass up for us... I hope your guide can give you the same price.

AFAIK, the best prices have typically been on the cruises. This however was the same price quoted to us on the Magic in March, so we took it.

Just spoke with our guide. The current price incentives are as follows for VGC add on:

50 pts - $10 off
100 pts - $15 off
175 pts - $17 off

We were hoping to get $15 off the 50 point add on but $10 is still a good deal so we went for. She mentioned that they are estimating the resort will be sold out within the next 2 months. They are already starting to run out of a couple of use years.

Our first add on was exciting, now time to book our first DL trip. :cool1:

We were debating over whether or not we should add on more points before our 1st contract was even closed and by the time we decided to go ahead with our 50 pt add on, our guide told us that the $15 off pp incentive had just expired but since he quoted that price for us, he said if his boss was ok, we could get it at that price. We did.
