Add’l FP in 2nd park???

Getting a solo day in Disney after a business trip and have FP question.

If I get a FP for FoP in the morning and then hop to another park - can I get same day add’l FP in that park without using a 2nd and 3rd in AK? I know I can’t get another tier 1 at AK without using 2 & 3 but unsure if hopping to another park lets you go right to the add’l FP booking process.

LOL - thanks. I searched through the first FAQ and forgot about the addendum. I don’t usually need to resort to the FAQs!

If I'm reading right, this should work (although highly not probable these would be available-but in theory).

Pre book FoP for me and DH
Scan in at FoP and start looking for TSMM - book that. Also look for TT at Epcot. Book that.

So right after checking in for FoP, we could have TSMM and TT booked.

I am interested in doing this, too. So if I'm reading this correctly, I can book only one FP for a park, and then when I check in for that FP, I can immediately book one more FP for another park? Or would I be able to book more than one additional FP at that point?

Yes but only for a total of 3 initial FPs meaning you can book 1 FP for Park#2 and 1 for Park#3.

So I'm still having trouble understanding this. So let's say if I wanted to ride TSM and that is the only ride I wanted to do at DSH, I could book only that FP in advance. Then as soon as I check in to TSM, I could immediately book a FP for Soarin' and Haunted Mansion?

Yes. Those will be your 3 initial FPs - the last 2 have to be booked “day of” and only after the FP system recognizes that you are in a park.

The in park FP system knows you are in a park only after you have tapped at a FP touchpoint.

Thank you. We rarely do a third park in a day and I usually just make FPs for our second park, but it's good to know if I wanted a hard-to-get FP for something like TSM for late morning, that I could get some easier-to-get FPs for somewhere like MK for the evening without having to book FPs at the first park that I don't plan to use.
