This is exactly what i was looking for! it has all THREE of my flowers in it!!!

I love it! I want that without the green stuff and maybe have a few of the flowers white to break up all the pink! You totally just made my day Mandy!


So DF's parents are coming over today... According to him he will be bringing up the wedding but we'll see... they're on their way, once they leave i'll update you girls!

I got SO excited when I saw that one. It's exactly what you have been describing YAY!!!

Well ladies... Adam fumbled... and by fumbled i mean he totally did NOT mention the wedding once.

I also gave him multiple lead ins to get the topic started

Even his dad at one point said "hey a buddy of mine is leaving for disney tomorrow."

DF's response "oh.. cool."

Whatever i'm going to stop being mad and just remind myself that i can't be bothered with that anymore. Its his family he can deal with them when and how he wants.

Deep healing breaths... in with the good... out with the bad... Ahhhh... much better.


Alright so back to that amazing bouquet... I LOVE it mandy! i'm still giddy over it! When i first saw it i bounced up and down in my chair clapping and say YAY! DF looked at me wierd and i told him about it and he said... you're crazy! but i'm glad your other DISer found what you were looking for!

I'm also psyched i can have centerpieces at CR! I'm going to start looking on Disney Florals website for ideas tonight!

Unfortunately sometimes you do have to let the man deal with his family and worry about it. It's frustrating but like you said deep calming breaths.

I am totally psyched about the bouquet i've been thinking about it all day... since it has all three of the flowers i love it'll tie everything together,

I can put gerber daisies on the cake

have the MOH with a rose wand and BM wearing a rose bout

and DF can wear a Calla lily bout

Perfect right?!

Oh and I think Mandy also posted this cake (Mandy you should become a wedding planner! )

And while i was going through some wedding inspiration Pictures the other night DF saw this cake and said "I LOVE THAT!" I said "really?" and he was seriouse so i was thinking of asking if i could have a two tiered version of this made and add pink gerber daisies on the sides of it. I'd also want the blue alittle bit mroe like navy. I mean escape brides and do that right? they dont HAVE to use the escape cakes do they? DF is STILL talking about this cake and i know he really wants it so even if he finds out we have to pay extra i'd still want to do it for him!

I think we are cake twins! Adam likes it so much, he thinks its awesome! I know disney gives escape brides 250$ towards a cake upgrade and i can't ser it cost too much more than that... right? I mean its not that detailed is it?

Did you ask your planner about it at all?

I haven't yet. I figured we would when we go for our PS. The nice thing is you will know how much our cake costs way before your wedding!! I am not sure how many tiers we need for 40 people so ours will probably be a bit biger.

Yea i think we'll only need the two tiers. Even with two tiers i think it'll be pretty. I'm glad a few things are starting to come together... from now on i am NOT allowing myself to look at any other bouquets and/or cakes! hahaha

This is absolutely gorgeous! I would keep it all pink... I just recently saw pictures of a wedding where the bride had orange gerbers with blue hydrangea under it (I think they were in the picture thread... done my DPS). You mostly only saw the orange and it popped against her dress... just gorgeous.

I think if you did that bouquet (minus the green), it would look amazing against your dress.

Escape brides can definitely upgrade... I just changed my cake flavours (marble with peanut butter cup filling on the bottom and lemon with cream cheese filling on the top) and it was a $50 upgrade. I think upgrading to a three tier cake starts at $125 and goes up from there.

I love the bouquet! I'm considering keep everything pink but i think adding a couple white flowers might break it up alittle bit. But we'll see.

I did see that bouquet! It was Kim's (luvmyfam3) It was very very pretty and you're right it definatly did pop!

I'm wondering if i should have the ribbon around the stem navy blue with a rhinestone clip like in the picture to tie it in with the cake. What do you think?

I think you should keep it all pink too... even though blue would go with your cake, you won't see that in any pictures except the ones with you two standing in front of the cake.

I love the bouquet too!! I'm still excited about it! It so funny that Mandy is using that cake, I am going to have that cake, and it was your "just incase" cake! I love Mad hatter cakes but DF isn't really into them but this cake is a perfect compromise!

I can't wait to confirm my date with disney.... i was looking at invitations online and i can't wait to order them. I almost ordered some but i'm so worried about getting my date and time that i figured i'd jinx myself if i did order them. I think i'm going to make a ticker for the 8 month mark when i can offically book!

I want to do that too!!! I think the worst part is waiting to book, it just doesn't feel real yet!!!! Plus there is all the anxiety about getting a date, and booking vendors, etc. 8 months will come soon though!!! I was engaged in March, and when I found out I have to wait to August to book, I had a huge breakdown thinking it would never come....but only 3 weeks now It's 2 days after Df's bday, so we are going to celebrate again that day as well,

At least you have a lot done ahead of time. You'll be on the phone with your planner booking your date....and everything else!!!
