actual opening of nemo & friends?

Hey to all! We are arriving Oct 15 for our 1st trip home to SSR!
I'm trying to decide if we should hightale it over to Epcot after we check in on Sunday or do you think once the preview ends on the 15th the ride will open to everyone starting on Mon Oct 16th. Any advice or ideas? TIA

I would get there if I were you. We're hoping for a soft opening the following week.

We'll be at SSR on the 22nd, we'll miss the preview, but maybe we'll see you.

We will also be arriiving on the 15th (Port Orleans Riverside) and I didn't know Nemo was opening that weekend. Did you find out if it will be open that week of the 16th?

It is a preview for DVC & AP holders only from 10/13-10/15.

I haven't heard when the openning will be, but they will often have "soft" opennings after all of the previews. You should stop by while at EPCOT to see what's going on. Often in the past, there would be a sign out saying that they are testing a new ride and it is open. Keep in mind that it isn't officially openned yet, so there is no gaurantee that if will be operating while you're there. But you should keep checking. We have done alot of soft opennings and previews. We arrive late the 14th, and plan to go over to EPCOT on Sunday the 15th for the preview....we are both DVC members and AP holders, so no problem for us. Guess we could do it several times if we want. It sounds cute, and our granddaughter (18 months) arrives a week after us, so hopefully she will get to ride when she arrives too.

If you can I would go see it on the 15th. When they had the special preview for EE they gave each person a special pin & lanyard. They haven't said if they are doing it for Nemo but I'd certainly check it out just in case.

We were at Epcot prior to Soarin opening (about 2 weeks) and the ride was open to the public but just one lane...the wait was about an hour but so worth it!

We will be there Oct 19th to the 22nd and hope to see the new Nemo ride!
