Who are some of your favorite actors right now?

Stuart Wilson Ive always liked him but never know who he was until recently. Just watched movies where he was one of the leads not just a back up. 'Slow burn' and 'Run away home'

The only person I have heard of on your list is Christopher Eccleston, he's great!

Also on my list are David Tennant (duh) and Patrick Stewart. I tend to look at acting ability above physical attractiveness (though looks don't hurt, for sure!), and a lot of American television seems to focus on the looks rather than any real art. So I'm with the OP, British actors seem to be higher on my list these days.

I've got quite a thing for Australian actors right now. Hugh Jackman and Simon Baker have got to be two of the most beautiful men on the planet. Mel Gibson was no slouch in his prime either.

Hugh Grant, John Cusack, Matt Damon and Ryan Reynolds are some of my favourites as well.

I first saw him in the early 90's when I bought a VCR tape of a BBC version of Jane Eyre but really fell in love with him in 95's Persuasion, a movie I have watched at least 100 times.

I too love Cirian Hines. He was also one of the husbands in "Calendar Girls" and many other movies. I just loved him as Cesaer though.

Sam Worthington is my new obscession. He looks so much like a little boy at times but just seeths sex appeal. Yum. Expecially when he is blue. In 3D. With a braid.

James Nesbitt was also the star of "Cold Feet" several years ago and that's where I first noticed him. He is very versitile.

Jason Issacs is really in a lot also but he is very maleable and you don't always recognize him. He has been in several Harry Potters and was the evil Brittish officer in "The Patriot". I like him best as the gay neighbor of Charleze Theron. So sweet and nurturing.

I'm kinda tired of the usual group in Hollywood right now. They are bringing in new blood from other places and it seems to be all good.

Did anyone mention Simon Baker??? Now that boy's easy to look at.

I would agree with Sam Worthington. Chris Pine is another of my faves right now and Zachary Quinto has become a contender. LOL
Of course there's always my standby's, Harrison Ford, Keanu Reeves, Josh Lucas, and yes, Christian Bale is pretty good looking too, in the right role anyway.

It seems like there are alot of actors who dont fit into that "this is the real movie sexy" Im sorry but I dont agree. He maybe hot but cant act worth a hoot. yet there are the real looking guys you fall in love with when they are able to make you believe that is who they are in that movie. These actors can have such raw emotion.
