Hi all! :wave2:

I'm trying to find a list of activities to do around the resorts, i.e. chip and dale's campfire thing at FW, fishing at (I think) POR, but what else is there to do? Are pony rides still something going on at FW, or has that gone away?

We're going down for a few weeks (YES!!!:hyper::hyper:) and we don't want to be in the parks ALL day every day. We want to explore all of the resorts (only ever been to POP) and see what they have to offer.

DS will be 5 and DD will be 3 if that makes a difference. THANKS!

Mousesavers has a page about Free and Cheap things to do around Disney, which includes a lot of the things to do at the resorts.

Go to AKL and check out the animals. If you've done that already, maybe go in the evening when they offer night vision binoculars to view the animals in the evening. It's a different experience to see them in the evening.

The boardwalk area is fun. Don't forget to try Beaches and Cream. In the evenings there are boardwalk performers.

Bob Jackson has a great show in the evenings at POR.

I personally can't wait to check out the new resort, Art of Animation.

If you park at DTD, you can take the boat to POR, POFQ, OKW and SSR.

Take the monorail to the CR, Poly, and GF.
