Activating My annual Pass

I recently renewed my DVC gold pass and was told I would need to activate it prior to going into a theme park. My question is can I get my AP activated at Disney Springs or do I have to go to Guest services outside a theme park?

If you are doing it outside a theme park, I believe you can do it at a ticket window. It doesn't specifically have to be a guest services window (for which the line might move slower).
