Activating MM & MVMCP Ticket/band

So I have MM it is linked to my MDE account I believe. At least I see it when I log in so I am assuming we are good. I am the only person in my family of with an account and Husband and two kids are under me so I dont need to do anything else correct as far as their bands being scanned for photos and showing up in account. Now when I get there is there anything I am supposed to do? I feel like I read somewhere you have to do something at the resort when you get there.

Second I bought my Christmas party tickets awhile ago and they were mailed to me not long after. I have 3 hard tickets, my son is 2.5. So he didn't need one. Where do we go to get the wrist bands? If we go back to the park between 4:30/5 will there be crazy amounts of people getting theirs as well? I have no idea what I am supposed to do as in getting the wrist bands.

I have the MDE account with my family members listed, all of our magicbands worked for MM (their ride pics showed up even when I wasn't on it). We didn't do anything to activate it, the first thing we did was go on Buzz and the pics showed up in the account. When photographers took our pics they had to scan one of our magicbands.

We went to the first MVMCP on November 7th. Our resort bus pulled up to the MK at 3:51p, we were through security, the ticket scanner, got our party bracelets and were able to use our first FP+ for talking Mickey which expired at 4:05pm. The CMs with the bracelets were standing right past the ticket scanners, you can't miss them. We also saw them passing out bracelets in Adventureland around 6:30pm.

The magicbands worked well for our group, we had no issues using them for our tickets, room keys, MM or FP+. What didn't work for me was the MDE app, it was useless during our stay there. Overall couldn't complain, we had a very lovely trip.

The worry and questions leading up to the trip was the worst part, lol.
