Activating military tickets

I read in a thread somewhere that you can use 2 tickets for one person. Are they still allowing this? My MIL bought 2 military tix for herself for our trip next month. The rest of us have YES tickets but we could not buy one for her. We need 6 days so she got 2 of the 4 day tickets. Will she be able to activate them both in her name? She does have the proper ID needed for these.

Thanks!

yes she can use them both in her name and she will need her military spouse id to activate them.

See Cheshire Figment's Ticket Sticky on the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies board for more info on military tickets.

Some people have said you can only activate one Salute ticket in a one week time frame. I can't find that on any of the "rules," so don't know if that is in fact reality or not.

A service member may not activate more than 12 tickets during the course of the program. There is also a limit of six tickets at one time.

I get the six tickets at one time. But after you've used those four days, how soon could you activitate six (or one) more? If I activate 4 on Monday, can I activate 4 more on Friday? I've seen more than one post that says you have to wait the full week. Is there an official Disney ruling on this?

I got mixed answers on this when I called Disney and also in talking to ITT at our local base.

We used these tix in May and they took our names for the tickets they activated and said that we could buy 3 more that week for any additional friends or family. We assumed by taking the names, WE couldn't use any additional tickets... however, I don't see how they would know if we activated the other three who was using them.

We are planning a trip to WDW next year (YAY for extending the promotion!) and I asked about using back to back tickets and the general feeling I got was that it's hard to control it from happening but Disney would not guarantee you could -- I'm assuming they want to keep people from doing it but can't guarantee 100% success. In the end, we decided to invite DH's parents (we're celebrating his completion of training and felt they should celebrate, too), so it negates back-to-back tickets since we'll use 5 of the 6 for our group.

Honestly, the biggest issue I see with getting a straight answer is that Disney doesn't do the military tickets - they are done through MWR/ITT with vouchers and Disney just processes them. You can try to call to get a more solid answer, but don't be surprised if they go vague on you. :)

We bought 4 and used them for the 4 day stay. But when we did that the rules on the tickets were unclear. I would still try to check.
