Although I don't always agree with the ACLU on some of their approaches, they do provide a valuable service to our community.
In light of the recent financial turbulence, and the Madoff scandal, they are in serious financial trouble, with a loss of funding in the neighborhood of around a million dollars.
This isn't a pledge for you to do anything other then spread the word about their troubles and consider if you will a donation if you believe in the organization.
From my understanding, they have an anonymous donor who is willing to match dollar for dollar any donations made before end of day today (midnight).
I do not work for this organization (ConcK can vouch for me), I do not sit on their board and I don't even volunteer for them, this is just an honest post based on information I read about them.
