and this one is alive.

My youngest wants to catch it and turn it into a pet. Now I know she loves animals, but this is ridiculous.

LOL!...er...Aww...I'm sawrey....I suppose git'in a cat on short notice is out of the question? :teeth:....decon makes a mousetrap that's really easy to use....(but, Mrs. G...won't "touch" it after it does it's job! :teeth: ) ....

LOL, I've never had to touch them before either. I know I could do it if I have too.
I know, I'll get my oldest to do it. She's not squeemish like me. :teeth:

Nope, can't handle a cat. It would create worse problems for me, I'm allergic.

LOL! Sorry I'm laughing at you Laurie...do you still have the snake??

Ummm, yeah, two now. hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Nah, my dd wouldn't let me. The mouse may have germs.

I know how you feel! We caught one yesterday. I guess the cooler weather is running them in!

We have them too! Mine likes Tostito's and Fruit Roll-ups! We had the exterminator come and he put lots of poison out. Today I emptied the pantry, the only place I've ever seen any droppings. Washed everything down with bleach mixture and spread out the poison. Little bugger better move on out of here!!!!!

Serena-can't you feed it to the snake?

Goofyposter-I was thinkin' buy a cat, lock it in the pantry and crawl space!

Nah, our feeding mice have to be bacteria free or they can hurt the snake. Heaven forbid the snake got sick. She loves her babies.
The strange thing is that they love her too.

MY God.. Get a mousetrap and put cheese on it.. then crunch.. breaks it's back then toss it the garbage can..

Try the glue traps.. They work pretty well..

I feel your pain.. This morning I had to go down into our dark, damp, dingy cellar (which I normally never stepped foot in till my DH went on the oxygen) so I could move some junk out of the way before the furnace guy came and I was SOOOOOO scared of running into a mouse..

:(

Amazing what us gals can do if we have to though - huh?

Hope you catch the critter.. :)

LOL, yes joe. I am going to do that. I just have to go get a mouse trap tomorrow. In the meantime, that little mouse isn't going to eat much. ;)
I'm not afraid of it, I just don't like dealing with the remains. yuck!

They love peanut butter. When Mr. Simba brought a live one in the house, we got a no-kill trap and put peanut butter in it and we had the mousie that night. DH took it to the woods and let it loose, and you can use the trap again. :D

Ditto on the peanut butter. It WORKS!

Good luck....:D
