WAAAA.
Just when I thought I figured out the dress code.

Ok, we leave for a 4 day wonder cruise in less than 48 hours. I am NOT, repeat NOT a dress up person. I avoid dresses like the plague, the last skirt I wore was probably 6 years ago.

I've bought and packed "resort casual" clothes....khaki capris, nicer tee shirts (3/4 length sleeves, or short sleeves with a light dressier shirt over top) sandals.

This is a stretch for me as I live in shorts, jeans and sweats.

Now I read that Triton's is dressier....
And...so I ask....Am I going to feel grossly out of place at Triton's?

My dd wears nothing but dresses...easy there.
My ds has khaki pants and a polo.
And my dh is wearing what he wears to work....khakis and a polo.

Dress code says no shorts or jeans, so hence the need to update the wardrobe, but do I need to run out to the mall and pick up something fancier?? (gotta go out for a belt as it is....might as well do it all in one trip)

HELP!
Thanks!!

capris and a nice shirt or blouse will be fine - enjoy your cruise!

Clothing issues always seem to be a hot debate here. I think you will be fine, at least from what I've read, the Wonder is less formal. Don't stress and have a 'wonder'ful time!

Just beware that, in general, "Triton is dressier" because of its more formal setting. However, the most dressy occasion is the formal night (regardless which dining room you're scheduled to be in), when tux and gowns are common, and dark suits & dresses are the norm. Yes, there will be others in less dressy affairs, but they're the minority. In my opinion, DCL is probably the most casual of all major cruiselines.

Triton's is on the Disney Wonder. There is no formal night or semi-formal night on the Disney Wonder.

Whew, thanks Horace! Reading about "formal night" struck fear in my heart!! I was SURE there was no formal night on the Wonder. This is so much stress....maybe I won't ever go on a 7 day just to avoid formal night! ;)

Thanks everyone for the replies. Sounds like I'll be ok in "casual me attire," and if ppl don't like it....TOUGH! :)

Back to packing!

Boy, do I feel silly... :p :p

Never been interested in Wonder because of the shorter itinerary, so never knew. Thanks for the edu... :D

Sounds like you'll be okay with what you said you're taking. We just did the 4-day in January and because there isn't a formal or semi-formal night, we rarely saw people dressed up like we did on the 7-day. You'll be okay!

I wore capris/crop pants most every night except formal/semi-formal nights. I think what you're bringing sounds fine. Have fun and try not to stress too much!:)

I need the spa treatments just to detox from this packing!! ;)

Thanks for all of your help! :)

Thanks for all of your help! :)

Keep in mind -- LESS is MORE (and BETTER). I packed too much for our first cruise and did much better for our second!
