I'm at work- I work front desk at a hotel- and the hotel across the street just called to tell me that they were just robbed!!!

That is really creepy when it is so close!!

Are the police there yet? I'd think they'd come over to your hotel just to check on things. Hope you're ok. Are other people working with you?

The police have been to the hotel where it happened, but they didn't stop by here. I am glad that the hotel's manager called to let me know, though!

Just me working, which is probably why it is so creepy! But the manager lives here so she isn't far away.

I don't think (hopefully!) they would be stupid enough to go back so close to the scene of the crime, but it is still a little weird! That whole "if they had just gone to the right side of the street instead of the left, it would have been me!"
