It's that crazy time right before finals and I have a paper due tomorrow for honors seminar - I have specific interview questions that I have to ask a person who is fluent in more than one language. Is anybody on here bilingual and wouldn't mind if I PMed you a few questions? I would be eternally grateful!

I'm not bilingual (took a little French in school, but *definitely* not enough to be considered bilingual, LOL), but just wanted to stop in and say hi Amy! I know *exactly* what you mean with the end-of-term rush. I have more due tomorrow than any other day this term. (So I really shouldn't be here, I should be doing my work, LOL.) Wednesday is my last day of classes, and then we enter exams up until the week before Christmas. (And then I have to get all caught up with you! :) :) ) What about you... what's your school schedule for the rest of the month?

Good luck on your paper!

Welllll, I speak relatively passable Chinese (Shanghai dialect), but I can't read or write Chinese. In fact, I spoke Chinese BEFORE I learned English, as my parents are Chinese immigrants, and speak Chinese exclusively at home.

However, I quickly learned and used English as I grew up, and it certainly is my primary language now.

Feel free to PM me if this is what you want . . .

I'm fluent in French, feel free to PM me.

This was me a couple weeks ago when I had a psych paper due, psych test on 5 chapters  (She always gives us 5 chapter tests!)

And an oral report for English. The test grade could have been better if it wasn't on so much material. I'll take the 90 I got on my English report, and I was thrilled with my 99 on my psych paper!

I wish I were bilingual! I'd help you out if I were. Good luck!!

And if you're looking for any young people, I have lots of students who are Bilingual. For many of them, English is their second language. Many from Mexico, they speak Spanish at home. Any questions for them, they'd be happy to help their teacher (brownie points, brownie points!)

Thanks to everyone who helped me - I did finish my project and turned it in today. I'm not sure if I'll get too good of a grade or not, I was bummed because she gave me back another paper today and I got a B+/A-.. I think I'm just too picky about grades, LOL. But thanks again to everyone who responded! :)
