Cast and crew:

Ace(me): 28. United States Air Force. Disney lover as long as I can remember.
DW: Nancy,28. Became Disney lover when we got engaged at Disneyland.
DS: Nick, 5. Had first Disney experience at 3 months old and hasn't looked back.
My mom: JoAnn. I owe my love of Disney to her since she always took us to Disneyland.
My sis: Vicki, 25. Looking for relaxation above all
My brother: Rob, 21. Can finally have a drink at PI
Brother's G/F: Ali. Is she ready for a week with us all?

One of the main goals of this trip was to take a bit of a slower pace. We went pretty commando on our first two trips, so we decided to play it by ear this time. We awoke at a little after 9am and DW, DS, mom, and I decided to go to MGM. QuUick bus ride over, bags check out and we are in. Decide to head over to ToT, posted time of 13 minutes, but it took maybe 5. This was a trend we noticed throughout the trip. Actual times were much less than posted. FP for RnR while we got some fruit and snacks, did RnR, and headed over to Star Tours. DS is finally tall enough for some big rides, and this was his first. He was nervous at first, but by the time the ride started he was so into it. Got a call from brother and g/f who met up with us after the ride. Sis came over after going for a run, as she is training for a marathon. We all decided to try WWTBAM, lots of fun, even DS got into it. It was now about 1pm, and we decided to see if there were any openings for the Fantasmic dinner. Went to the booth, Mama Melrose was full, so we decided to take an early (4:20) seating at H&V. Back over to ToT and RnR, both quick stand-by. Back to H&V and we were among the first seated for dinner. Great service and food was great. We really enjoyed it a lot. Finished up and met up with the Green Army Men and their cool truck. DS and I got a pic with the Sarge, and we are all saluting. (ok so it is DS and 2 "Sarges") Went to see the Muppets which still cracks me up. Wandered around NY where my mom had to have a pic of the "Singin in the Rain" umbrella. Headed up to Fantasmic package entrance right at 8. This would be out first for this also. I had seen the DL version, but really enjoyed the seating. DS was nervous as he doesn't like fireworks, but we are really enjoyed the show. Slow pace while exiting and by the time we reached the bus stop, we were put immediately on a non-Disney bus that took us back. Mom and Sis hit PI while the rest of us hit the pool again before turning in.

we have seen Fantasmic maybe a dozen times by now......and it is a favorite for us......thanks so much for posting

I have to hunt down the "singin in the Rain" umbrella the next time I am at MGM! Thanks for another great installment.

Snoopy Two: The umbrella seemed to be working fine, each time someone stepped underneath it, the rain came.
