Accidentally got a good rate for Alamo

I accidentally used AD24 as a coupon code and found out it was a $50 coupon! But, I don't know where it comes from. Got a rate of $139 for the Uplander. Didn't reserve it, cause I wasn't sure where the AD24 came from. If anyone knows, let me know. It sounds so familiar.

Giving you a bump. I also plugged in this coupon code and got a $50 discount. I know mousesavers had an AD14 rate code that was supposed to save you $20. The wierd thing is, it doesn't say on my confirmation where the coupon came from. Usually it says "$25 Entertainment coupon" or whatever you used.

This would save me $35. I'm still not sure I want the Uplander. Chevy lists it as a crossover, more like a SUV. Has anyone rented one? Also, are the cars they rent 2006 models or 2005?

I found what it is. On the confirmation it says:

Air Miles Gift Certificate Us ($50.00)

So, there you have it. I certainly don't qualify for it.

I called Alamo to check into this and found out that it is a paper coupon that was part of an air miles rewards program. I knew it sounded too good to be true...

Crossovers are more minivan inside than SUV. I drive a Saturn Relay that is labelled a crossover. It looks more like an SUV on the outside rather than a typical minivan, but inside I have 7 passenger seating and all the accoutrements of a minivan.

Can't tell you if they have 2006 or 2005 but does it really matter? It's only a rental.

I noticed that the 2005 model looked alot different than the new 2006. I just wanted to know, I'm picky like that..lol
