Accidentally Booked a RCI Vacation!

So I was browsing the RCI site for availability and officially booked a trip by accident! lol I also don’t have any points moved over to RCI so idk how this is even possible. Does anyone know what I need to do to cancel this and not make more of a mess than I already have!? Thank you!

Call MS asap, explain and hope for mercy. Your points were moved when you made the reservation.

With RCI, there are two options: book immediately or deposit first & book later. You must have done the first. I don't know if MS can get your points back. A cancel might only allow you to book something else within RCI. Good luck!! Let us know how it turns out. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

Note to self.....never ever look at RCI site.

I can see myself doing that easy.

There has been a time or two on amazon , I'm looking for books to listen to with amazon audible escape and click "buy book".

I called yesterday and she was able to basically send a note over to cancel my reservation, thankfully they hadn't taken any points out yet. I'll never make this mistake again...lol
Also, she put my borrowed points from a cxld Aulani trip back into my 2021 use year! It was a trip for September that I chose to cancel so I assumed they would be stuck in 2020 which was understandable but this worked out even better

It was for Aruba in December! Which would have been GREAT, but I'm really not in a position to go on that trip nor was it under the correct names. Just a hot mess on my part lol. But hopefully one day I do get to go to Aruba
