Accessible Grand Villa...

Has anyone styed in an ADA Grand Villa at any of the DVC resorts?

I was wondering what happens in the ones that are 2 stories...is there an elevator inside? Also is only the MAster Bath ADA?

My brother will be accompanying my family next oct (He is in a power chair) and trying to figure out what is best....not too worried as long as one bathroom is ada...unless his bedroom is upstairs and he has to leave the villa, go the elevator and come back down again to get to the first floor!

If that is the case I may be better off getting a 2bedr for dh and I and then getting my bro his own studio so he has his own space...but I thought it would be nice to stay all together. TIA!

I have only stayed in an OKW GV which is two stories. First of all, be sure that Member Services blocks off an accessible one for your party as there are those where the entrance is on the second floor and no elevator. The accessible bathroom was on the first floor and there is no elevator to get to the second floor inside the villa, but I still had plenty of space to maneuver within the first floor which also has the living/dining room area.---Kathy

There are 2 accessible GVs at OKW. One is in building 48 and the other is in one of the buildings in the 60s.
We stayed in the OKW GV in building 48 (which sounds like the same one Kathy stayed in). I have pictures, buy don't have access to them right now.

I believe that all of the GV in Jambo House of the AKVs are one story. I believe that I have read on these boards somewhere that two of the Jambo House GV are accessible.
