accepted for disn. rewards card but will I be in time for the dinning specials?

you may be able to call the card company and get them to issue you a temporary card number. just explain what you're using it for.

I got a call last night asking questions and saying I would probably be approved. He said they wouldn't give numbers over the phone, but that they could expidite sending the card. He gave me an 800 number to call and told me to explain the situation and he thought they could get me my card by Monday. I may not be able to call first thing, but maybe by that afternoon.

You definitely need the card in hand. They can expedite it overnight, but you will have to pay, I think. We got our card in 5 days, but it was still 4 days too late!
