Acceptance Letter or Email?

We've all heard of the famous purple packet, but I know that some people have said they have gotten their DCP acceptance in the form of an email.

For DCP alum, what's the word? How did you receive your news (good or bad)?

My program was two years ago, so definately old info, but I recieved "you made it" as a letter, with a pending location until my character audition. I then heard about passing the character audition via e-mail. Then I recieved my purple folder after that.

I got an acceptance e-mail and then 3 days later my purple folder.

when fall 2010 acceptances/rejections were going out, i swear i read every bit of information that people posted including when & how they received their response. it really seems like you get an email (unless its a rejection or pending) THEN 2-3 days later you get the purple folder. but then i have also heard of some people getting a call?

I've heard of Disneyland people getting calls, but there are FAR FAR fewer of them then there are at WDW
