The cast: Me (DH) 42, DW 41, DD 16, DD 8, DD 6, DFIL 64, DMIL 62, DBIL 37, DSIL 36 & DBIL 38.

We woke up early Sunday morning for our trip to AK. Since we purchased our tickets online, we arrived to the park earlier than normal to pick up our tickets around 7:50 AM. We were one of the first busses on the safari and the animals were very active. We followed the UoG's itinerary to a T and rode every ride with no or a minimal wait. The park seemed deserted at times. Our DD8 and DD6 didn't want to ride Dinosaur, so my DMIL stayed with the girls around the Primeval Whirl. While we rode Dinosaur twice, they rode PW 4 or 5 times. We played a few carnival games then headed to the Tree of Life to see the Bug show. After riding most of the rides, we ate lunch at Tusker House. The food is really good with a good selection. We headed over to Camp Minnie Mickey to meet the characters and see the shows. Both shows were entertain with Lion King being the best. I really like the seating arrangement at Pocahantas for the kids. After Pocahantas, we headed to the parade route for the Jammin' Jungle Parade. We located near the African bridge on Discovery Island to view the parade. After the parade, we headed back to the house for a little R & R before heading to MK for Spectro and Wishes. After a couple of hours of swimming and relaxing, we head over to MK for a couple of rides, Spectro, and Wishes. The park was pretty crowded when we arrived. We headed to Space Mountain to get fast passes then to the teacups for a quick ride. Since all the other rides were very crowded, we decided to stake out a spot along the parade route in front of Cinderella's castle. We found a good spot on the curb and enjoyed watching the younger DDs play games. Our DDs can hula hoop for hours and amazed the CMs with their talent. During a lull in the action, one of the male CMs tried to hula hoop and failed miserably. My oldest DD and DSIL started joking with the CM about his hula hoop ability. He challenged my DSIL and DD to show their stuff but neither one wanted to do it. The CM offered our DD fastpasses to Stitch if she could do better than him. We started chanting her name and the other guest around us joined in. She decided to give it a try and won the fastpasses. The CM didn't expect a party of ten when he made the offer but he had enough fastpasses for our group. After Spectro and Wishes, we used our fastpasses to ride Space Mountain and see Stitch. We stopped at Burger King on 192 for a late dinner and headed back to the house. One full day completed and our next stop was MGM!
