Which 2 2BR categories should I waitlist at Copper Creek to give me the best chances of getting it? And which category should I waitlist first? My 7 month window opens soon! Thanks!!

Remember that not that much inventory has been declared yet for CCV. So that means not that much is available for points stays. Fall Frenzy makes it even harder.

I'd do a Dedicated 2BR and a 2BR lockoff with walk in shower. I don't know that either are too likely to come thru in entirety but if you have the possibility to check the RAT periodically and see if you can pick up individual nights you might make it work.

Have you booked your home resort as a backup?

Agree with KAT4DISNEY:

#1: Dedicated 2BR
#2: 2BR Lockoff with walk in shower

The lockoffs with the tub are the hardest to get because the studios are very popular. Actually, all studios are popular, but the ones with the tub tend to go even faster.

Yes, definately booked my home resort AKV 2BR savanna view. My husband wants to try Copper Creek. I've done some research and some are saying that the 2 BR seems small. Not sure if I want to give up the extra square footage that AKV or BLT will give us (as well as the extra bathroom). Got to make a decision! My 7 month mark is tomorrow am!!

Thanks for your responses!

I toured the models and they are definitely more compact than Jambo and definitely more than Kidani. It's a completely different layout though and people are saying the storage etc was done well which helps to keep the living areas open. WL hotel rooms that CCV came from were approx the same size as the Jambo standard rooms but the DVC at Jambo was made up from the deluxe rooms - except value. So if you've stayed in a value room there it's more comparable to the CCV room size although again, they modified the layout. Giving up that extra bathroom does take some consideration!

There really was a lot of storage space and surface area at CCV in the 1BR! It was really nice and well designed in our experience and we had lots of space for our family of 3. We stayed at the Dolphin afterwards since we had SPG points to use up, and the storage and surfaces there were really lacking in comparison. Usage of space can truly make a big difference.

Well friends, we decided that we wanted to give Copper creek a try. I did not even have to waitlist a 2 BR at CCV this morning as it was available for my 5 night stay in October!!
