?? about tie-dye color combo

ALready thinking ahead about shirts for Oct. trip. We're going to our 1st MNSSHP on 10/19. I'm just looking at tiedying not doing art work. MY QUESTION IS......how would it work to tie dye a shirt orange then dip some of it in black???? Anyone ever done one like that, how did it turn out...great or gross. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP, ADVICE, SUGGESTIONS!!!

The only advice I can give you was given to us by a professional tie dye artist. To get black and other colors you have to start with a black shirt and bleach out the areas you want to color and then color from there.
