? about the different passes

We have in the past gotten the park hopper pass that let us go to multiple parks on same day, got us into the water parks, etc. But I'm confused with the new passes - do the park hopper allow water parks or do I have to get the park hopper AND the magic plus? TIA!

Park hopping just refers to being able to visit more than one of the four theme parks on the same day. Water park admission is a separate add-on, as you suggested.

There's an actual park hopper pass (which we've always bought) but there is also a Magic Plus Pack that includes the water parks, DTD, Disney Quest. I'm guessing I have to add the Magic Plus to the Park Hopper pass that we've already bought. Where I was confused was in the past the Park Hopper pass included the water parks. But I think I've figured out I just have to shell out some more money to upgrade my park hopper pass to include the Magic Plus. (I thought the Magic Plus already included the park hopper). So I guess I've answered my own question.

Actually, in the previous incarnation of admission media, there were park hopper passes (which did not include water parks) and park hopper plus passes (which did). Admission to the water parks has always been an option available.

You can also get non-hopping passes with water park admission (plus pack) With these you can still go to both a theme park and a water park in a day (uses both a day and a plus) or go to both water parks in a day (uses two plusses).

(If you do not go into any theme parks on a given day, a "day" will not be deducted from your pass.)
