About the Christmas Pin Search

Does anyone know when it will start and end? I did one last year and it was such fun. Although I had the mistaken idea that you had to do it all in one day. It was a rainy day and we just had a ball going everywhere to get those pins. By the time we got the last pin at DTD in was around 5:30 and we were tired but happy. It was a great way to spend a rainy day at Disney.

We're new to pin trading, and will be there in Dec. - can you please give some more info?

Sure angel's momma. This is what we did last year. We started at the Magic Kingdom at the Jewelry store where they sell pins. We got a very pretty card that had 8 characters printed on a Christmas background. We bought our first pin there and they stamp the back of the card. Then you go to the next location that is printed on the back of the card and buy the next pin and get the card stamped. You do this for each of the locations. The last stop was Downtown Disney where we bought our final pin and got a free one. We framed ours when we got home. You don't have to do it all in one day and you don't have to do them in order except for the last pin. You have to have all the other pins and all the stamps to get your free pin. It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. And you have a lot of fun doing it.

I have never heard about this either, so thanks for all the info.! I love Disney pins! Does this happen the whole month of Dec. or does it just go on for so long( and what are the dates for it). I am going for my first Dec. trip to WDW, so I will have to keep my eyes open for this!

Disney supposedly had the last pin pursuit for this year in March (transportation series). They are however releasing limited edition pins at all the resorts. No map - no free pin.
