We will have 2 Adults + 1 Child on our plan and mother-in-law will have 1 Adult on her plan. I have made ADR for all of us to eat together. If we wanted to "treat" mother-in-law to dinner one evening would we be able to do that. We would be ordering for 3 Adults .. room key will only show 2 Adults + 1 child so I wasn't sure they would allow this.

You can use your credits anyway you wish. Yes you can "buy" her dinner with your dining plan.

Yes, as long as you have at least 3 dinner credits remaining on your account.
Say your MIL was in a park with your child at lunch. She could use 2 counter service meals at the same time to buy lunch for your child and herself as well.
We just returned yesterday and had trouble using up all the credits! Have fun! :Pinkbounc

Thanks for the replies. I'm trying to sit down and go through each meal and itemize out how many CS / TS credits will be needed for each "feeding" so we don't run out before our trip is over or we don't end up with a lot left over at the end.

You and child can share a meal and save a credit at some place, or you can pay Out of Pocket for your child's meal and save a credit.

However, if your mother is one to worry, like my mother would, she will fret over the credit she never used because you bought a credit for her.
