? about parasailing & taking along a child that is too young

I'm hoping someone here can answer this for me....on our cruise this August, I have booked the parasailing excursion on CC for 4 out of 5 of us (me, DH, DD8 and DD15) DD5 will be too young to parasail. Can DD5 come out on the boat with us if she is not going to parasail? Or do I have to put her in the kids club while we go out on the boat? What time does the kids club open up on CC? Our parasailing time is at 10:00. TIA

Hello ~

I was scheduled to do Parasailing and a month before I had MAJOR unexpected surgery - so I couldn't go Parasailing. When we arrived at CC - I asked if I had to wait on shore or could I go with DH and DD ( 11 ) and watch - they stated that they had a policy no one with out a ticket to parasail could go on the boat. So I stated I had a ticket - I just could not use it - and that I requested that DH & DD go on my ticket to get extra time. The person driving the boat stated that since there were only 5 of us on that trip out - that the kids could fly with the dad's ( the other party had two - a dad and son ) and that they would extend the time appropriately. SO as they were getting ready to depart, the guy driving the boat stated he would allow me to come on board but that I had to sit near him and stay out of the way. It is a long story - sorry - but the rule they told me - no ticket no boat - but they did make an exception. lolol

Last Nov DH, DD8 and myself went parasailing. DD4 was to young to go so we had 2 options. #1 put her in the kids club-it opens from the time you are allowed to disembark until 3pm I believe is closing time or #2 have some of our cruise friends keep her with them.

We lucked out and had some new disfriends with a young daughter offer to keep DD4 with them while we parasailed.

The other poster is right when she said "No Ticket--No Boat"

thanks for your replies...I figured that might be the case. I'm hoping she will enjoy going to the kids club by herself so the rest of us can go parasailing together.
