I was wondering if anyone knows if the Build a Bear outfits would fit Pal Mickey. I was going to buy two and have them waiting for the boys when we get to our room. Problem is, how will they know who's is who's. I'm wondering if I could not get a baseball outfit and a train engineer outfit and dress the Mickey's and get them into our room before the boys get there. They would know EXACTLY which Mickey was theirs. Has anyone tried putting non-Disney clothes on Mickey?

Thanks
Mary

I haven't tried it - but someone mentioned somewhere not sure where I read it - that Michaels has outfits for their teddy bears - those might fit???

Good luck!

the Build a Bear outfits are too big for the most part. I have the HUGS sweatshirt for my PM1 and although it's large on him it looks cute :) I have a t-shirt from there that is one of the University shirts a friend brought back for our group's Pals and again it's large but he wears it with his sweatpants *grin* I have the Elmo t-shirt which I think is cute on him and goes with his jeans or a PJ shirt.

Build a Bear has baseball hats that fit alright, not perfect but they work. I have the red and I seem to recall them having a blue one of course they currently have the baseball hats for your local team in stock hopefully, or online.

If you have a Joann Fabrics Etc store in your area they have jeans (boxer or shorts for their bears) that fit the PMs as jeans.

The camp outfit at Target by Build a Bear might be on sale it was a week or so ago here and it fits. A bit snug in the shorts so I would suggest the parent put them on.

Mick is wearing the Utah t-shirt from Build a Bear with the grey zipper jacket from Michaels. The pants are Joann Fabrics Etc.

Basically Mick has a ton of clothes and it comes from us finding plush that is about his size or I found a local store that sells t-shirts I can iron onto. He has the build a bear Dalmation slippers which I recommend if you use them to get little baby socks for him to wear to keep the red from rubbing on his poor yellow feet.

There is a Fan Club for Pal Mickey where we share ideas and just celebrate PM :)

The sunglasses fit him pretty good as well just not sure if you want the kiddos with them in the park in case they come off and get lost. Mick wears his in the park but then again I'm a kid at heart and watch over him like a mother hen.

Let me know if you have seen something at Build a Bear and wonder if it fits, Mick pays a visit to our local store quite often and will be going back soon. So it's possible me or friends have tried it on or had ours there to compare or I can compare it when I go the next time.

Thanks. I was just basically wanting something baseball for one of them and something like a train engineer for the other. That would really personalize them for the boys. I'll keep and eye out for smaller sized outfits.

Hi dizenthusiast, I sent you a private message with the address. Techincally it is another board and I don't want to squish toes by posting it. :)

Mary maybe Disney will come out with something, especially with the Trains in the MK. If you have a personalization company that sold the shirts for the bears then you could find clip art and make your own iron-ons which is what I have done. Keep your eyes open for the least expected places for dressed plush, a friend found some at the local drug store last year that works really well. good luck in your hunt for your little guys :)

Hi Diane! :earsgirl: Actually, it is not another board. It is the website of the club for Pal Mickey and is located at PalMickey.net. That really should not step on any toes. The club has a category on a section of a certain small "community" message board, but the club itself, and its website, is not a board.

BTW - The "Attire" page of the website lists some options for places to buy clothing for Pal Mickey.
