??? about MVMCP

On the day we are attending MVMCP, if we only go to the park for that, do we also have to use a day on our hopper tickets??? I am trying to decide if I need 4 or 5 day hopper tickets. We are going to have a none park day in the middle of our stay and just go to MVMCP that night. So do I just need my MVMCP ticket or do I need actual park admission too for that day too??

You do not need admission into MK for MVMCP. They close the park prior to the start of MVMCP and allow only those with tickets for MVMCP into MK. I believe admission begins at 7pm.

We were allowed to enter MK for MVMCP at 4:30 on our MVMCP ticket and given red wrist band so we would not be mistaken for day guest.They sort of herd MVMCP party people toward Tomorrowland.

The MVMCP ticket is for the event only. The last couple of years they were letting folks in around 4:30-5:00PM. If you want to go to MK at opening you will need a park ticket.
