?? about ME

This is our first time with the ME, so bear with me...

How does this work?? I'm picking up my tickets tomorrow, so i guess i'll find out more when i do, but i'm just wondering....

Is it true that with some airlines you have to get your bags yourself??

We are arriving on SOUTHWEST...DD3 and I (PREGNANT) will be taking the ME while DH gets the car and drives to the resort. (DD wants to take a "bus" lol)

If i have to get the bags myself, then we're just going to take the car.. I dunno, i'm totally confused!!

They will take care of your luggage for you. You can use any airline and still participate in Disney's Magical Express Service. When you get to the Orlando airport, you just have to look for the Mickey hand, they'll direct you to the check in desk, and direct you to your bus. Your bags will arrive in your room later that day.

The only thing that only certain airlines participate in is resort check-in, where you can check your luggage and print your boarding pass before you leave the hotel. Southwest does not participate in this service.

Just make sure you get your ME yellow luggage tags before you leave. If you don't get these then plan on picking up your own luggage. If you do get them, then Disney CM's will take care of it for you!
