Sorry, not a SW fan but this sounds kind of cool.:teeth: Our HS day is already very tight but is this something we may catch a glimpse of while walking around?

definitely! :lovestruc I usually see them at least once when we spend the day at HS and it's very cool. I believe I saw them near animation courtyard but I might be wrong :confused3

I think there's certain/specific times that they come out throughout the day. The park map that day will probably list the times. :)

I think odds are good you might encounter it without planning for it. I believe it happened every half hour, though maybe it was every hour. We encountered it twice without trying just by walking from one attraction to the next. My kids loved it.

When it first started, we made plans to see it. However, now that we don't specifically plan for it, we still see it by chance all the time. When the music starts up, it's hard to miss.

They march a few times each day. Check the Times Guide for the daily schedule. They start at the front of the park near guest services and do a short show at the stage where the sorcerers hat used to be. They then march back to the front where they came from. It's way cool and my "must see"!

Great! The schedule for our day there in almost every hour on the hour. So their route is from the park entrance area to the hat and back?

You'll hear the music. They set up two giant monitors in front of the Chinese theater which display the stormtroopers marching up the street to the theater. While they are marching, they will interact with guests lining the street every so often. The music is LOUD, and it's actually a pretty cool little break to stand and watch. Once they get to the stage in front of the theater, they do a little skit type thing - doesn't last very long, and then they march back. You can watch everything on the screens, but there is a roped off standing area to the left and right of where the skit takes place, in front of the screens that are good viewing spots. Adult guests with manners will usually let the kids pass through to the front of the ropes in these areas so they can see the little show. I'd say that it's a decent little parade - the loud Imperial March theme makes it FAR more dramatic than it really is.

Yesterday they marched 10am, 11,12,2,3,4pm

My suggestion is to stand down the main road just slightly past where Sunset blvd (road to ToT) starts. This is where the march will briefly stop and they interact with a few guests. Then they line back up and continue to the stage.

Also if you're hanging out around the Great Movie Ride and Star Wars Launch Bay you might see a couple stormtroopers walking around inspecting stuff

Would that be in front of the Starring Rolls location?

Somewhat..closer to the Main Street though. But yea right in that area. They head straight up the Main Street so just be by the water fountain there or the clothing store on the other side of the street

You'll know where I'm talking about because you'll see a guy with a big camera that films the march. He'll be standing in the middle of the street and about 10 feet in front of him is where they will stop before proceeding to the stage

They stop here for less than a minute and give people a "stare down" before continuing to the stage. That's the Starbucks in the background for a reference.
