? About making ADRs & Adding DP Later

I make my ADRs in a few weeks. I am wanting book CRT and Narcoossees's. I know that CRT requires full payment upon booking and I am pretty sure that Narcoossee's requires a credit card hold.

I am renting DVC points from a DVC member, so I am not on a package deal. I plan to add DDP, but want to wait to add it til September after I book my air travel and have my summer school check for working summer school.

My question is how hard is it to transfer the ADR to DDP when the credit card has been used to pay in full at CRT? Will I have to lose my ADR and have to rebook (praying there is an open time) or can they just credit back my card and I keep the ADR?

Anyone do this before?

I have done this before but I choose to wait until we get to the restaurant to have my cc refunded.

If you want the refund beforehand, I'm not sure if they cancel and rebook.
