We will be having Dinner at EPCOT on a Candlelight Package (presumably). However, that same day we wer thinking of having lunch at Le Cellier just to try it. It would be off meal plan.

I am unfamiliar with the portion size at LC. I was wondering if for a party of 2 would we be better off with 2 appetizers or 3, knowing we will have a dinner planned. I definitely want to try the trio and the other two sound good also.

Any opinions?

1. Appetizer Trio to Share - Tomato Stack, Lump Crab, and Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup

2. Roasted Duck Meatballs - with a carmelized onion tartlet and a cherry gastrique

3. Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage - with Roasted Corn Polenta and Sweet Onion Jam

You should probably note that Le Cellier is not offering Candlelight packages for dinner - just lunch.

It depends on whether you're light eaters or have good sized appetites, will you be having breakfast earlier, which CP performance you'll be attending. The time you'll be eating dinner is based on whether you want to see the first, second or third performance.

There's a sticky at the top of this page that links to many many food photos so you can see what they look like. Then you can decide if you want to order all 3 or you could order 2 appetizers, but if you're still hungry order the third.

Don't know much about the CP package, but I would just say whatever you do the one thing you have to try at LC is the Cheddar Cheese Soup. Whatever you do try it and dip the pretzel bread in it. Amazing!

I don't know about all the Candlelight stuff, but I can say I loved the duck meatballs. They were a delicious appetizer, and the tart cherry was perfect with the duck. The spicy chicken sausage is also very good - the polenta is sweet, which helps to cut some of the spiciness.

Chicken Sausage. This pic is from dinner - it's the exact same dish at lunch, except it's served in a skillet, which is a cool presentation:
