? about Ipod touch deal at Target w/gift card

I've searched and can't find the thread about the ipod touch at Target for black Friday. Can you order it online and get a gift card either on BF or today? Our target is 40 min. away.

I don't know if it is "in-store only" or will also be available on-line. I don't think I've seen anything about it, but I know that the one past iPod sad with gift card wasn't available online. (That has been a while though since I was looking.)

I want to get two of the 8g. I printed my coupon off the Target site and have my Target card setting together. My Target is only 4 miles away (or less), but I'm waiting till Friday morning after DH gets home and I get up - probably 8 or 9am.

I'm really thinking that if they sell out, there will likely be another offer on Monday.

woo-hoo! It is 11:36pm on 11/23 and I was just able to order an Ipod Touch 8g off of the Target website for 189.99 + a $40 Target gift card!! That is even better than the deal that is in their Black Friday ad- $195 + the $40 gift card. And I got free shipping! YEA!!

Not bad about buying online, but I think I'll save almost $15 buying in the store:

Online: $190 - 5% Red Card + 6% tax - $40 gc = $151.33
Store: $195 - 10% coupon -5% Red Card + 6% tax - $40 gc = $136.73

So, I guess I'll still try in the store and if I don't get it, I'll come home and order online. I want to go to the store for some other things anyway; have to finish up my sponsor a child and angel tree stuff.

knockuout: The $40 gc is automatically put into your shopping cart when you put the ipod touch in your shopping cart. It says it will ship separately from the ipod.

I went tonight and got the iPod Touch. Very pleasant Black Friday experience, well organized. Also got everything else on my list.

I just ordered one for my mom on Amazon for $178. The deal at Target is about $170 after you add taxes and then "back out" the $40 gift card so I figured for $8 it was worth it!!

OP here- thanks, I gave up on target and ordered one from Amazon. With not having to pay taxes, it was only about $13 more.
