? about Grand gatherings, does everyone have to be on the DDP.

We have a group of 9 going in May, and the CAA travel agent suggest we book it as a Grand Gathering. But I'm unsure.
I am doing all the booking for everyone, as I am the one with the CAA membership and I already have my own families trip booked and paid for including the DDP. The rest of group are just booking now and do not want the DDP. Because I have the DDP, does everyone in the group need to have the same in order for it to qualify as a grand gathering. My agent is looking int it, but I thought maybe someone else would know right now.

The answer is no. All the members of your grand gathering can have seperate resorts, packages etc. The Grand Gathering will simply link your reservations together and make it a little easier to plan things and get ADRs for a group of your size.
